ROCK Capital Interactive has a 'high-assurance' Class 3 Digital ID for electronic commerce servers from Versign. In order to obtain this, ROCK Capital Interactive provided Proof of right-to-use the requested name (www.rockci.com) for the server in the form of a letter from an authorized company representative, as well as Articles of Incorporation (or other registered company formation documents). Further information available at VeriSign Digital ID Center FAQs. VeriSign Digital IDs are used to provide trust in the server's public key. The public key is instrumental in providing the secure link between 'client and server' which is necessary for exchanging credit card numbers and other sensitive information. Server Digital IDs allow web sites to identify themselves, and enable secure communications with customers.
