Making Your ROCKCI DIY Virtual server's HTTP Service Secure

The information that is transferred between your ROCKCI DIY Virtual server and a person visiting your Web site may pass through many different computers as it crosses the Internet. As a result, it is possible that someone may attempt to intercept this information. Even if you are not personally worried about this threat, visitors to your Web site may be very concerned. In cases where you are transmitting sensitive information, you may wish to implement SSL (Secure Socket Layer)  protocol on your virtual server's HTTP (Hyper -Text Transfer Protocol).

Note to implement SSL will require additional setup and hosting charges and
charges for a Versign Server ID.

SSL is an industry-standard way of passing  information (such as card numbers and other sensitive information)  securely between computers connected to the Internet.

In order to implement SSL on your ROCKCI DIY Virtual server, You will need to purchase a Versign Server ID .

ROCK Capital Interactive has automated the process of obtaining the Versign Server ID for your company and installation of SSL in your account by filling out a single form.  The form is our
ROCKCI DIY SSL Security Commerce Add - On   form.
