DIY Virtual Server User Manual Chapter 3-2-3 ROCKCI DIY Virtual Server
Features -
POP Email Accounts
POP Email Accounts ROCKCI DIY Virtual Servers by default provide incoming mail forwarding only. This is the best way to keep the task of checking your email simple. It allows you to check mail at your access provider for email addressed to your domain. Some users may wish to also have a separate POP account for their domain for Secure Ordering systems, and other reasons. ROCK Capital Interactive charges a one time setup of $10 for each POP email address. With a POP email address for your domain, you can route all domain email to the POP or route specific user email to the POP. You will be given a username and password to check your POP email. This username and password is required by your email client to check your mail. This means you will have to change
settings (from your dial-up access account) when checking your mail. Some
email clients allow for multiple POP accounts (MS Outlook) while others
only allow 1 (Eudora Light). Be aware. This may be an issue if you
have to check mail at both your access account and your domain POP account.
