Chapter 2-3 Getting Started
Accessing your ROCKCI DIY Virtual Server
We recommend that you read through all of  Chapter 2 Getting Started before using your Virtual Server.

In order to administer your ROCKCI DIY Virtual Server, you need to have a connection to the Internet. Your ROCKCI DIY Virtual Server is connected to the  Internet backbone, and is online 24 hours a day. In order to access and administer it, you will also need to connect to the Internet. Therefore, you will need an account with a local Internet Access Provider. A simple dial-up connection is adequate to access your ROCKCI DIY Virtual Server remotely.

Because ROCK Capital Interactive dedicates all its resources to High Speed Web Hosting,  we do not provide dial-up Internet access. There are many Internet access providers which offer dial-up access, including  national providers like AOL, AT&T, MCI, Sprint and others, as well as local providers in most areas.

All the software provided by ROCK Capital Interactive is ready to run on your Virtual Server. Third party programs that are designed for dedicated machines will need small configuration changes to work properly.
